Meeting and negotiating with Restomel Borough Coucil, The South West Regional Development Association etc in order to get the best possible outcomes for the town.
Assisting in the marketing and promotion of the town centre.
Many people ask “What can the Chamber of Commerce do for my business?” The answer is on it’s own - not a lot! But one might also ask what can one cricketer or footballer do on his/her own the answer is also not a lot. It is really a question of teamwork and what we can do together. One voice is but a whisper but many voices can raise the roof! The annual subscription _ around 75p per week covers the cost of administration; every organisation needs finances. The larger the Chamber becomes the greater it’s support becomes for every business, commercial and industrial.
There are over 1,500 business organisations in the St Austell area who could become involved and as one of them your help is needed to develop and support an enlarged Chamber worthy the area and its varied activities.
